Pregnant parents who have not previously given birth after 20 weeks gestation are welcome to participate.
Other eligibility criteria include:
Pre-pregnancy body mass index (BMI) of 25 or more
Plan to chest/breastfeed, try chest/breastfeeding, and/or feed expressed milk
Have no history of diabetes
Plan to give birth at UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital, Northwest Hospital, or Altoona Hospital
